URGENT !

We have a event which is going to be next week end, a huge Texas style gathering. Nancy and Karl Falster have worked months in putting this together and we need as many people as possible to attend. There are so many things going on in Tyler this next week end you need to go to their site and sign up and get your tickets now. We will be there along with Dr Paul's secret weapon (Allison Ritz) to present Mrs Paul with a award as well as participate in all the events. Please if you only do one thing this week make it this. If you cannot attend but wish to support Dr. Paul buy a ticket whether you attend or not but attendance would be much preferred and a lot more fun. Pay Pal Freezes our Account !

With the help of hundreds of folks we managed to raise over $60,000 dollars which we needed to pay for the NH Recount. While we had not gotten the entire amount I raided my husbands bank account and cleaned out mine and we had the money. I had been in contact with both Albert Howard who was standing by at the Secretary of States office and with Mr. Dave Buhler ( former Attorney General of NH) who had also opened a new bank account to receive the money and to write the certified check for Albert. With just minutes to go before the deadline I sent off the money, I checked and yes it had been removed from our paypal account so I just knew it was on its way with no problems. A hour later I got a call from a friend who told me our paypal account had refused a donation. I checked and sure enough our account had been frozen. The funds I had sent had been returned to our account so the money was not in NH and the deadline had passed. I was frantic. I called a friend and asked if he would lend me the money..He Did.. he sent the cash directly to the former Attorney General and a check was cut and certified and it was accepted by the Sec of state. So the Count was on. Now all I had to do was talk to paypal and get my account opened so I could repay the loan. After about 24 hours of constant talking and finding Kinkos to fax information to them we got to the right person. Or I should say you guys got to the right people. I know in my heart it was not our jumping though their hoops that opened that account it was the massive response from you guys to PayPal that got their attention. They opened our account and had several excuses none of which is worth repeating but referring to terrorist activity etc.. We got 3 phone calls from a real PayPal person, several email messages all trying to explain the reasons which there were none that really answered the questions.

In any event the Recount is going forward. The money has been paid to the state and I have repaid the loan. We are almost in the black again if we can manage to finish out the chip in. We had already sent Mr. Howard $2,000.00 for the filing fees. Plus $500.00 for other expenses like a hotel room plus the airplane fare from Mi. to NH which was about $300.00. We then sent another $2,000.00 to pay for a place for Mr. Howard to live in while this is all taking place and he can be right there at the counting videoing and watching. Mr Howard is very intelligent and patriotic and will not let them just slip things by, he will demand a open count and I have a feeling he will get it. The count was supposed to start on Friday but it seems that they ( state of NH ) had to certify that our check was indeed certified ( which it was) but this was simply a stall to allow more time to manipulate the ballots. Bev Harris is there and has made the statement that the ballot boxes were cut as they were taken out of the vans.. they were also supposed to be stored in a vault but the Sec of State decided not to do that and they are simply in a room now?

Another item with paypal. just moments before the money was received in NH about 5 minutes after I sent it I received a donation from a fellow with a strange name with a lot of J's and I's in it.. Paypal flagged this donation as suspicious? It is still flagged even though the account is open and free to send and receive as much money as I see fit to send or receive. I have had to prove I am not a nonprofit, I am a citizen, I am who I say I am, they have copies of every piece of ID we can find including my marriage certificate. At one point Chris ( driver ) yelled at them < What more do you want a urine sample?> He got quite vocal with them.

In any event we are still behind in money, I need to have the money I put out which is our traveling money replaced or we will be stuck somewhere between Texas and SC. We will be heading back to Texas this week to attend the Line in the Sand event in Tyler. Please make sure we get there.

Now for the good stuff:

South Carolina

I can't just say a city here in this state as we have been up one side and down the other and are now in the middle of SC. We are sitting at the airport in Sumter SC just feet from the blimp in a downpouring rain which is quickly turning into sleet or freezing rain. Not a good day. We did see Rand Paul and his boys and got them to sign the RV so now even more Paul names are proudly shown on here.

The good thing about the weather and you all know there is always a silver lining to everything. and this weather may be the best thing for us all as supporters. We all know that Paul supporters will brave any kind of weather to show their support but others are not so dedicated.. Take heart. Many of the Rudyites and FredHeads won't go out and ruin their hair or get a goose bump for their candidate but we will... ( Just got the results of the SC primary, and we finished 5th.) There is a lot of news about the voting machines being out of order and people being turned away not able to vote. One place did have 23 paper ballots? another used legal pads but then had them mixed up with other pads from offices? Just so much playing with our lives is not right. I don't see how the American people can sit back and tolerate this much longer. With the support we have seen in SC it is just not sane to think McCain came in first. I could have seen Huckelberry with the strong Christian values in SC but a war monger? There is something very stinky about this.

Buddy is the star here, a Russian news team came by and didn't really care about us but wanted to see the monkey and interview him.. Buddy did very well actually until he tried to eat the mike and tried to help adjust the camera so he was sent to the bedroom where he promptly got into Chris' drum case and tried to play his Juiceharp. I just hope those little monkey fingers didn't do any permanent damage.

All along the roads going to Sumter we were pulled over and handed out signs and Slim Jims, the best was on our way into Columbia a trucker on the CB asked is we had any bumper stickers.. Lord Yes so we told him to pull over.. We stopped behind 4 trucks that had pulled over to get some supplies from us. These guys are pumped up and ready to rumble. We gave them yard signs, bumper stickers, bracelets, buttons and hundreds of Slim Jim's to hand out at the truck stops.

We were so happy to meet all the folks in SC and there were lots of them, all supporters, We were at the Speach by Chuck Baldwin where Chris did a remote Radio show and got some good debates going on as he interviewed the other candidates supporters.. what a hoot.. He did a excellent job and people seemed to like it from the response we received via email later. The radio show can be heard weekdays from 6PM eastern time to 7 PM .         As you can see by the grin on his face Chris finally met Ron face to face and got a bonus, the Grandaughters were there also. Chris got his books signed and came away a really happy fellow.

We spent the night next to the blimp in Sumter, watching that thing land is a awesome sight. I got a chance to sit down with Trevar and talk about what we can do to keep making headlines for Ron, he has some good ideas which will be put into place shortly. I really liked the man and felt in my heart he is a true supporter which is a good thing. He will be putting some new ideas to work shortly involving a blimp but not the huge one..Wait and see this will be even greater.

Buddy as you all know is the real star of this thing and does his job very well. I know he has brought more people to Ron Paul than any human could have possibly done just by getting their attention so we could get them informed. Poor little thing gets paid very little, some monkey chow and every now and then the bottom of a beer. After a hard days work he really deserves a break and a reward for a job well done.

ANOTHER BLOOPER?

I got a call from NH last night, Bev Harris ( black box voting ) put Albert Howards phone number online on the internet!? why this was done is beyond me. Mr Howard is worn out, just as we all are and needed this week end for just resting and having some peace and quiet. His phone rang constantly keeping him awake till late into the night, then when he called the manager of the hotel and told him no more calls other than from his wife a man rented a room down the hall from him and proceded to bang on his door. Albert refrained from answering so the man went to the manager and told him he was an associate of Albert's and something was wrong and had the door opened.

Now there is no excuse for this, Albert is doing a great job for all of us, he deserves the respect and some privacy and most of all some rest. When he called he was very upset and just didn't know what to do. I told him to pack his stuff and just move without telling anyone where he was going which is what he did. He does not have funds so this was put on my credit card. Mr Howard is now in hiding in NH for the week end anyway. This is so unprofessional of Ms Harris and so disrespectful of the man who made the recount possible.

Would you all please try to help us out in keeping Albert funded in NH with transportation, meals and a safe and secure place to stay. I thank you all for your past support and hope you know the money was spent sensibly and for the purpose of the donations in the first place. I have posted the costs and donations and will continue to be a open as possible without giving out my actual banking information.
