Talahassee-Marriana-Destin-Panama City, Florida

What a trip, we have been constantly on the move from one town to the next stopping here and there talking to people and really finding out that North Florida is a Ron Paul Strong Hold.

In Talahassee we saw the students, handed out a box of Slim Jims for Students and moved on, In Marriana we needed a oil change badly and finally found one that could handle this thing. A fellow stopped us about a mile from our oil place in a kind of a panic. He had been called at work by a friend who had seen us go by on the road and he left work and tracked us down. Cory is a true blue Ron Pauler. We talked to him all the while our oil was getting changed and found he was feeling like he was all alone in the world with no support. We followed him to his business and broke out some signs, within a few mintues people were honking and pulling in to talk with us. Correy was so gratified, he found the support he was looking for and I suspect he will be starting a meet up in his town. We loaded him down with signs, bumper stickers, bracelets and buttons. He got so emotional I wanted to cry, people are really really wonderful, it makes me feel so humble to see grown men with tears in their eyes when they talk about Ron and how they so deeply want this country back.

In all probably 6 or 7 people stuck around and talked and made some plans to meet later on and make plans for the future exploits of the Revolution.

Chris has a thing for the PA system, all along the road where ever there are people on the street he is talking on that thing, One lady with a pair of pink pants on was walking across the street in front of us ( kind of heavy in the rear) and Chris not missing a beat talking about Ron inserted "Nice pink pants lady" we cracked up at her look but she was grinning. I doubt if she had been flirted with by a red white and blue RV before... Driving along the Beach with old people walking their dogs, riding their bikes and jogging of course he had to acknowledge t/'[
hem also.. as in " Ron Paul loves dogs" Ron Paul cycles every day" and Ron Paul loves Joggers... Vote Ron Paul.. He keeps us in laughter even when we are so tired we can't think straight.

We spent the night behind the Elks club in Panama City, beautiful place right on the water. It was so peaceful and nice to hear the gulls and pellicans with the water just lapping at the shore.. We have a gong for the Rudy and Hillary callers that like to harrass us... it is so much fun to gong those dolts...

With Chris on the PA all through the Panama City and Destin area we stayed laughing, in fact laughing so much we missed a place to get breakfast and had to turn around when right in front of us was a Big Ron Paul sign in front of a Doctors office..We pulled in the parking lot to do our turn around and Chris as usual got on the PA and started " Attention sick people, the Ron Paul Road Show is pulling into your parking lot" The place turned out, Doctors, Nurses and patients all came out laughing and waving. They love Ron Paul. We spent a few minutes with them gave them enough Slim Jims to give to every patient in the county and lots of bumper stickers which they promised to make every patient put one on their car. Not a bad turn a round.

On the road again we came to Destin? Don't know why we stopped other than the beach was so beautiful but, we met another older couple that just love Ron, They got the same Paul treatment, stickers,buttons and info. The man already had his van Ron Pauled and was proud of it.

In Destin we were looking for a spot to set up the radio when a fellow drove by and flagged us down. He led us to a meet up at a local restaurant in a big shopping center. We did the show and more and more people started showing up as the ones there kept calling others saying we were there. By the time we were finished the show there were probably 25 people gathered there and two of them were guests on the show. This group is realllly motivated, they have taken over the Republican party here in Destin, they are young, active, smart and are not going to be stopped.

There are signs everywhere, not many others but lots of Ron Paul. We had people of all ages, from young teens driving their Mother's car and putting Ron Paul on the bumper? We don't know how much trouble they will be in over that, maybe none.

It was after 10 PM when we left the parking lot and looked for a spot to settle for the night. We found one, the absolutely most dumpy RV park I have ever seen, It took two trys to get us parked in the tiny space but what the heck we were worn out.. Then when we pulled in people saw the RV and were curious so another hour later we finally said good night to everyone and turned in. This folks is just one day in the life of "The Ron Paul Road Show" ! We had a wonderful day, made a lot of new friends and hopefully made some new Ron Paul supporters.

We now have to make more buttons, get Chris some throat spray so he can continue his PA announcements and get back on the road towards Tyler Texas.

I know some of you think we are just out here having fun and we are but let me tell you something. Folks this is work. I am worn out, Chris is hoarse and Mike is staying plastered to his computer trying to do enough work to keep on getting paid in between plotting our routes and phone calls. I had to shut off my phone as I was 75 minutes over my minutes and expect a large phone bill but today I got my new minutes so am back on the phone also. I didn't know so many people have our numbers. We are doing the best we can do the only way we know of getting to the people. Please if you think we are doing a good job don't just call and tell us so even though we love to hear it but we need funds to keep this thing rocking and rolling. None of us are taking a salary, we feed and clothe ourselves and many times pay for the items we give away so if you have any spare cash send us some of it. I am getting better and better about asking for help here lately as it is getting so close to the wire and we have to make sure Ron Pauls name is known as we all know the media is not going to help out.

I sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support and will continue to do as much as humanly possible to promote this revolution.
