Granny Warrior News
This is going to be a long message so sit back and take your time. First of all I apologise for not having a news letter out last week but due to a small bout with the flu ( no not from the chemtrails) I just was not up to the job.

Now I am much better and have some of my energy back and resting up from a whirlwind trip to SC and the opening of the new Ron Paul office in Charleston and the wonderful Rally there.

Amanda Moore has done a great job in that area, we all owe her a big Thank You for her dedication to Ron and the effort she puts forth. She is a trooper. I pick on Amanda constantly and accuse her of alienation of affection because she is one of Buddy's favorite people, ( mostly because she slips him contraband goodies) he knows when she is anywhere around and will throw a fit if she doesn't come see him. Amanda is one of my favorite people, full of life, fun and a serious worker.

The New Office is huge, a wonderful place to store supplies, meet and hold rallys, just about anything is possible there and you can bet Amanda will make the most of every square foot.

We were honored by Ron Paul coming over and autographing the Freedom Wagon. That started a wave of everyone wanting to sign, I think it is a wonderful idea to fill the RV up with signatures of supporters, what a message. I am so proud to be a part of this movement and to call these folks friends.

Even though we were parked in the street and partially blocking traffic the young policeman took the time to sign the wagon and allowed us to stay without a ticket.

Now the main event

I am so proud to have his signature on this Motor Home for everyone to see.

This was a long day, long trip and so much fun, Joel, Jeremy and Chris were wonderful companions and Chris is a excellent driver even if he does have sort of a lead foot. Poor old Freedom Wagon doesn't usually travel that fast but at least we had very few " Oh Crap" moments...Like the fruit tray flying off the table etc. This means of travel gives everyone a chance to talk and plan and a chance to listen to a monkeys point of view.

There is so much that needs to be talked about on this message that I hesitate to do so as it will really be a long long message but here goes..

First every year for the past 3 years I have taken stuffed Monkeys to the Victory Junction Gang Camp ( a Nascar sponsored camp for children with critical illness) The Race Car Drivers pay for this camp and visit it constantly. Last year we were told that we would need about 500 stuffed animals for the kids, we always get the same sized animal so no child is stuck with a small one and another with a huge one, we try to make it fair for all. Anyway there wound up being over 1,500 kids at the camp Christmas party so we had to change tactics and put the toys in the gym as prizes for the games. This worked out fine. Each toy is tagged with a special tag with the donors name and photo on it with a email address where the child can write and talk to the person or ( monkey) who gives the gift. Last year all my friends with monkeys sent in their monkeys photos and address which were put on a tag. The kids loved this and a lot of them contacted the monkeys via email after Christmas. Buddy still gets mail from several of the kids and answers each one promptly.

We are going to do this again this year with a change. This year each gift will be from Dr. Paul and the card will have his website on it so the parents can find out more about him. We have already broken the line with the Nascar people as we have been to the races and you can bet the drivers have seen the plane flying overhead. We have Dale Earnhardt's aunt as a personal friend who will be going with us to the camp to distribute the gifts and Kyle Pette has already met Buddy, look at the last years photos of the Christmas party. http://www.simply-simian.com/victory.htm < this is a website we run also for people who own exotic animals.>

Any of you that wish to participate in this the animals cost $4.50 each when we buy them in bulk. contact me with your name and email you want on the gifts or prizes.

Now for the next item: A biggie.

We own a concession wagon, yes a nice one, that has been in storage for 3 1/2 years doing no one any good what so ever. Before we got it it was in storage as collateral for a business loan for 8 years..While being older it is basicly new. The truck only has 8,000 miles on it. Anyway we have this thing sitting here paying storage on it and have an idea it would make a wonderful new addition on the road for Ron Paul.. How about a Liberty Diner? It is fully self contained, built by Waymatic the cadilac of all concession trailers, all stainless steel, will pass even the health code in California. It has its own bathroom, walk in freezer, cooler, fryers, ice machine, grill, ice cream machine, is easy to set up and fantastic looking as it is but with new graphics on there for Ron Paul it would certainly stand out. Imagine this rig all decked out for Ron at the rallys, ball games, races? It will cost quite a bit to get it checked out and ready for the road but it is doable and this will pay its own way once it is up and going. Think about coffee cups all blue with Ron Paul in white, food wrappers, water, freedom frys, there is no limit to the possibilities. The profits from this unit would also be able to fund the Freedom wagon which would take a load off of our shoulders and yours and as a pair traveling down the highway it would be a sight to remember. Below are some photos of the trailer as it sits now. With new signs and a paint job with the flag, No not a home made one this time, it would be a stand out at any event. The best news is we have a couple which are experienced in the food trade and can drive this unit and will work for food. With the Freedom wagon and this unit traveling together there is no need for motels or meals for the workers plus would make a real traffic stopper.

Let me know what you all think of this project:

If you are interested in this project write: ronpaul4us@aol.com If enough people are interested we can put up a chip in page or perhaps get Trevor Lyman to run the project since he has so much experience in this area? If you happen to know Trevor let him know about this and get his opinion.

Now this is the end. Have a good week and work hard for Ron.
