Granny Warrior News

After Fort Worth:

The debate is over, all the shouting has died down for a few days and I am catching my breath. There is still a lot to do and many people to talk to. After resting a few days in Winnie the itch started again, it started in my head, Ron Paul, Ron Paul, Ron Paul, Ron Paul, Ron Paul, even Buddy was getting antsy when we got the call to come to Fort Lauderdale and the "Christian Voters Choice Debates". Florida is a long way from Texas as I found out on this trip. What a drive. I met lots of interesting people along the way, one in La. flagged us down in a grocery parking lot, he wanted to know if we had any of them there bumper things to put on his car ( all three of them) cause if that witch Hillery gets in office we are done fer. He went away with a hand full of them there bumper stickers and Slim Jims plus a hand full of DVD's. That is the kind of people we love to meet.

Troy is driving again, thank goodness as we had to drive most of the night one night as we found no parking places with heavy rain and millions of "LOVE BUGS" The windshield was covered with their little guts as was the whole front of the RV and visibility is nill when those things are out in force.. We did find out one thing. The only thing that will take them off once they have baked on in the Texas sun is WINDEX. We scraped, scrubbed, and hosed and nothing until my dear Husband simply told me to get some good old fashioned Windex and spray and let sit for a half hour or so and just hose off.. Worked like a charm after all that scrubbing..

After the LoveBug mess it was pretty smooth riding except for several people who must be Fred Thompson lovers as they actually shot us a few one fingered salutes.. One Mexican man looked like he was going to have a stroke with the blood vessels popping out of his neck screaming ???? ( I would guess it wasn't nice) at us. It was rather funny to see his totally insane reaction to our signs. Oh he must have been able to speak English or he would not have known what the RV signs said. I think he should have at least honked. Some people just have no sense of humor or fair play.

In La. it was big game day, Friday, LSU was having a home game and most of the cars had those little tiger tails hanging out their trunks or windows.. One fellow in a really spiffy convertible had his car painted the yellow and purple colors and now has some beautiful blue bumper stickers on both sides and the back. He was proud to display them. Our Kind of People !

The drive was beautiful, some rather stark country side showing the extent of the drought. I have driven though Louisana many times and have never seen the swampy area so dry, you could easily walk on it without a problem. Miles and miles of land area that should have been flooded.

Florida seemed like a never ending journey, though the pan handle and then south to Bonita Springs Beach where my son lives. We arrived very late in the rain and not being sure exactly how long the drive way is since this is a new house we decided to stay overnight in a park. Next morning we arrived and with lots of help and advice got the RV parked in the driveway and hooked up. My son went on to work only to return a hour or so later with a bait bucket full of shrimp. Now that is a way to make a Grannys heart beat a little faster. BAIT + A FISHING ROD = ONE GOOD DAY. We gassed up the boat and spent the day just plunking around old fishing spots we visited years ago. Things have changed so much it is hard to realize it is the same place but the water is the same, beautiful blue and clean. The sun felt great and the salt water soothing to the soul. A fine day for me. Ray ( son ) even baited up the crab traps so we would have dinner the next day.

The only fly in the ointment : I was the only one that caught a keeper, my son the tournament king with fishing holes named after him, expert fisherman etc. didn't catch anything worth bringing home.

This is the first time in a while I have just absolutely done nothing, not even put up a sign, well maybe one or two in the yard here but other than that just absolute peace and quiet sitting on the dock just watching the world go by, feeding the birds, watching the manatees and dolphins play in the front yard and just sitting there with a fishing pole in hand trying to act like I am really doing something.

This won't last long, we will be heading over to FT. Lauderdale and the Rally and debate on Saturday, spending Sunday just driving around town talking to people and on Monday getting ready for the big rally getting set up and ready to go. Dean and Alex of the South Florida Meetup Groups have called several times and has everything ready for a really big Rally with South Floridians coming in for the show. He has a 150 foot barge which will be parked on the waterfront with a huge 100 foot sign for Ron Paul and we will be set up right in front of the Barge. They have already been putting out the word for supporters to show up in force hoping to beat out Iowa and Texas in feet on the ground.

Of course I will take lots of photos and get them to you all as soon as possible, that is the fun part sharing the moment with so many of you.

With all the headlines about the military stand down on the 14th, lost warheads, threats, cyclones, the stock market and the put options it seems like we are fighting a battle that never ends and the only peace I ever feel is when I think that soon Ron will be our leader and can start tearing down the battle fronts one by one and help us get our sanity and Liberty back. We have to be victorious or we will have lost our last chance at the survival of our Free Nation. Think about how it will be to have to just survive and not "LIVE" that is not a option I like to think about. We must continue to bring more and more people to our side in order to beat the big guys at what they do best ( Lie, Cheat and Steal) and that means that every one of us has to remember to act as manerly and sincere and not be outrageous in our efforts.. Just remember the man and how he would behave and do the same. Lets not let hotheads and trouble makers make us all look like fools with a cult mentality. We have a sound model to follow, lets see to it that we all follow his lead in actions and behavior.

I have not asked for support for a few newsletters as I know you all do as much as you can, so do I, but this trip has been a very expensive one from NC to Iowa to Texas and now in Florida and I have to get home sometime somehow. If you can spare a few dollars please send them in for our fuel fund. It is getting below the red line of empty. Now more than ever we need your financial support. Many of you are disheartened with the Campaign Committee, so are we but we are working around it and doing as much as humanly possible to promote Dr. Paul in a decent and honest manner. We need everyones help with this. We pinch pennys to make ends meet to be able to do this. My husband works 2 jobs, one for our expenses at home and one to help keep this RV going. He does his share and more, now we ask everyone to do your share and help us out if you think we are making headway. Every person that sees this RV will either know who Ron Paul is or at least ask, Who is Ron Paul? On the road it is seen by thousands daily, what other type of advertising could accomplish this?

Use the link below or go to the Web Site and send us a token of your appreciation today. Please put your money where your mouth is today. Pats on the back and kind words are appreciated but they do not keep us moving. Only gas in the tank does that.

Thank you all for your support.

For those of you that have a problem seeing the photos go to the website:
